I Started working in the photography industry in 1999 at a one hour photo shop.  They needed someone to do Photoshop work such as restoring old photos and specifically I remember taking someone out of a family photo due to a divorce. I also worked on small video projects such as event slide shows with mixed media as well as 8mm film transfers to video and DVD.

I graduated high school in 2002 after which I attended the local community college to figure out exactly what I wanted to do.  I studied photography and business.  After two years i decided to transfer to the Art Inst. of Pittsburgh to pursue a BS in photography.

In my last years at the Art Institute I did many different freelance jobs, volunteer work and an internship with the photographer at Pittsburgh Magazine.

After college I acquired a position with a national portrait studio chain in their management fast track program.  I did my training for three months in Champaign, IL and then took over a studio in Southern Indianapolis.  I was there for 9 months and then decided to transfer back home to Pittsburgh when the company opened a  new location at Monroeville Mall.

Going back to freelance work was my goal and I left Portrait Innovations to pursue it.  I have been doing head shots, E-Bay product shots, events, commercial work and some editorial work for the past seven years.

In 2015 I purchased an aerial camera system in order to take advantage of the latest technology in order to capture stunning photography.
